Mikalay Autukhovich: “As before, measure of restraint hasn’t been changed for me”

As before, a well-known Vaukavysk businessman and recent political prisoner Mikalay Autukhovich remains under home arrest.
“I work in Vaukavysk-based firm “Nika-taxi 22222”, but the measure if restraint for me hasn’t been changed yet, though objectively I could hope for conditional early release,” Mikalay Autukhovich said to “Narodnaya Volya”.
“Supervisory inspection was to submit documents to the court, but they haven’t done that for some reason. Additionally, I had no violations. And now the director of our firm once again appealed for my conditional early release, but the documents have been stalled somewhere again. As far as I can guess, they are simply stored by police, and nobody cares about them,” he added.
As we have informed, Mikalay Autukhovich was sentenced to three and a half years on July 7, 2006. He was found guilty in large scale tax evasion and running business without a registration and a license. He hasn’t pleaded guilty.
The term is to end on July 5, 2009.
